Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes, or TILs, are special immune cells that naturally live inside tumors. They have a powerful job – to find and kill cancer cells. TIL therapy uses these cells from the patient’s own tumor, grows more of them in a lab, and gives them back to the patient to help the immune system fight cancer better.

TILs can directly attack the tumor and also help the body’s immune system respond to cancer more strongly. This makes TIL therapy a promising option for many difficult solid tumors.
